Lions Camp Dorset

Since 1972, the Lions of Ontario have been helping families living with kidney dialysis. In 1978, construction of Lions Camp Dorset began on 380 acres of former crown land in Dorset, ON. The camp can accommodate 20 families weekly. The spaces at Lions Camp Dorset are rotated between the various Hospitals across Ontario who have patients on dialysis. The Fisherville Lions have made several donations to Lions Camp Dorset and have attended the work bee week held every spring to get the camp ready for campers. The camp is also available for rental in the fall.
